Training Plan
Pirlo was leading a training session. “This hairpin turn needs good braking performance when the car enters it, and good acceleration and top speed when it exits. Speed is more important on the straight.” There is a picture of the track on the table.
After the training, the team members all went to the office.
“Park has learned some knowledge in math and physics. I think we should make a plan for training his skills and driving psychology,” I said.
“Do you have a plan now?” Pirlo said.
“Yes, I think we should focus on speed and overtaking technique. We should work on his courage and driving psychology. So he can be more aggressive and get a front-row position,” I said. “Of course, it is a little dangerous, but we get more opportunities too.”
The team decided not to be so aggressive in the end. We both focused on speed and route selection, courage and composure. We tried to make fewer mistakes. There was some good news: Park had scored points in some individual races. He could now join the series and score a lot of points.
